Timna Sniper Weapon System

The Modern Warfighter With 85% of the worlds’ population living in urban environments modern warfare has moved to the cities.

Urban warfare challenges the warfighter to fight in a dynamic and fluid mode.

With an abundance of camouflage and relatively short-range vision, opposing forces can asymmetrically hold positions and disrupt battle tempo.

The challenges facing the warfighter on the battlefield are short-lived targets and simultaneous multiple targets that threaten small forces and stretch his ability in combat.

These challenges together will modern protective gear able to stop military ammo, increases the need for rapid accurate fire.

The Timna is a ruggedized SWS designed for the modern battlefield and optimized for urban warfare.

Designed with the sniper in mind, the system utilizes an advance stabilized barrel for accuracy.

The semi-auto design with a 20 round magazine allows fast follow-up shots, a quick transition between multiple targets/snap targets, and enables close combat for personal protection.

The system is equipped with 8 QD Picatinny mounting rails for optics, electro-optics, and ancillaries.

The Timna comes with a superior muzzle brake and an optional QD suppressor.

Telescope Mount

The telescope mount is a reliable mounting system that retains zero after disassembly and assembly.

The mount incorporates a Picatinny rail to enable the use of any telescope desired.

Bipod

The bipod legs can be individually adjusted for height.

Stock

The stock can be folded, reducing rifle length to 860 mm.

This feature enables carrying the rifle in confined space such as an APC or a helicopter and when approaching a difficult firing position.

The folding mechanism is extremely sturdy: ensuring rifle stability when the stock is extended.

The Timna SWS has been optimized to use M852 ammunition for long-range accuracy.

The HPBT 168 grain projectile was developed for long-range competition shooting and after great success was picked up by military units around the world.

This round in a military configuration became the M852.
